November 2019 – Motown MASH, For the Love of the Craft, and Holiday Party

November is chock full of fun and important MASH activities. First up is the 6th Annual Motown MASH. Motown MASH is our annual homebrew competition where we will judge over 400 beers entered by homebrewers across the country.

Motown MASH is a great success every year thanks to the many volunteers that help support the club and this year we need your help. There are several opportunities to volunteer to support MASH’s largest event and most important fund raising activity:

The Bottle Sort on November, 10th at 12 pm at Poor Henry’s
Help the club sort and label all of the entries for Motown MASH and enjoy the amazing food and craft beer selection while you are there.

Judging at Motown MASH
Interested in learning to judge but you’ve never done it before? Are you an experienced judge who loves a good American Light Lager? Sign up to judge and we will help support you in your judging journey as we taste through fantastic homebrews together.

Stewarding at Motown MASH
Want to help out but aren’t interested in judging? Come down and steward for the competition. Stewards help support the judges and are a critical part of the success of any competition. Stewards can register here.

Motown MASH Judging will take place at the White Meadow Lake Country Club. The competition takes place over three sessions:

  1. Friday, November 15 @ 7 pm
  2. Saturday, November 16 @ 9 am
  3. Saturday, November 16 @ 1 pm

After the competition ends, joins us for a homebrew happy hour from 4 – 8 pm with the awards ceremony taking place in the middle at 6.
