Join us on Tuesday, January 20th at 7:30 PM at Sunken Silo Brew Works in Lebanon for our first monthly meeting of 2026.
We have a phenomenal agenda on deck:
🌲 Brewer’s Duel: Ray Monahan vs. Don Taggert 🍺
We will have a great duel to kick off 2026: it’s the battle of the American Stouts featuring Ray stepping up to face off against Don. Come join us to see who has the right hops selection and the perfect balance of roast and bitterness. Is it a stout? Is it a black IPA? What is the difference anyway?
🍎 Cider Lab 🍏
Former board member, National judge, and cider maker extraordinaire Chris Johnson has some tasty and educational experiments for us to taste using cider from the most recent cider buy last fall. We’ll learn more about cider and elements that can control the flavor balance and final product that ends up in your bottle. This will be great preparation for our March Cider Club-Only Competition.

2026 Board Elections
The 2026 MASH Board Elections will be held at our monthly meeting on February 17th at Double Tap, in Whippany.
Anyone interested in joining the MASH Board must send a statement of interest to mashnewjersey@gmail.com by end of the day on Tuesday, February 3rd.
The statement of interest may include a short bio, your homebrewing history, and why you are interested in joining the board. All of MASH’s seven seats are open. Board members attend a monthly board meeting to coordinate our club meetings and events and brainstorm ideas to make MASH the community that it is! Help be part of the team to plan and celebrate!
