Come out to sample some of the tasty beers brewed by several current and former MASH members at this recently opened brewery. Some Double Tap owners will be discussing their journey, and we will have a discussion about making cider (to coordinate with this year’s cider purchase which will be available for pick up at the meeting). If you have not yet received it, you will be able to pick up your 2022 MASH member Glass. This year it is a 21.5 oz Willi Becher Tumbler.  CALL TO ACTION: Motown MASH is COMING !! You can register to judge or steward through the competition website (https://motownmash.brewcompetition.com/). In-person judging on Saturday, October 29 at the American Legion Hall in Wharton. Best of Show judging and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, November 5 at Double Tap in Whippany November MASH Sensory Analysis -Festbiers and Oktoberfests Beers.  Join us on Thursday, November 10 at 8:00 pm via Zoom as we taste and analyze some local New Jersey Festbiers and Oktoberfests. 1st: “Oktoberfest”, a Festbier: The Alementary Brewing Company in Hackensack: link 2nd: “Mr. Oktober”, a Marzen: Hackensack Brewing Company in Hackensack : link 3rd: “Eagle Rocktoberfest”, a Marzen: Four City Brewing Company in Orange: link **There will be a limited supply of beers available at the meeting for distribution. The total cost for all three beers is $10. Upcoming MASH Events Mash Club only Competitions: April 18th, 2023: Based on helpful feedback we received at the June Members Only Meeting, we are announcing this well in advance. The first Club only Competiton of next year will be ANY style lager. We plan to have a Sensory Analysis session featuring lagers early in the year to get everyone psyched for the April competition.
